Exporters Receive Presidential Award | |
President George W. Bush stands with the recipients of the 2006 President's "E" Award and "E" Star Award for export achievement. The following companies received the award on May 24, 2007 in the Oval Office of the White House: Georgia Department of Economic Development; Gerber Technology Hydra Platforms Manufacturing. Inc.; Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc.; Mallory Alexander International Logistics Maryland Port Administration; Numonics Corporation; Nylonge Company; Pharmaceutical Innovations, Inc.; Sign-a-Rama, Inc The “E” Award was created by Executive Order of the President on December 5, 1961, and is presented by the Department of Commerce to persons and organizations engaged in the marketing of products that make significant contributions to the expansion of the export trade of the United States. Most of the recipients are clients of the U.S. Commercial Service, the trade promotion arm of the Department of Commerce. | |
